Hornsby Rockets members have been very saddened by the death of one of our much loved members, Lars Emmerson, on 1st February 2010. Lars was a very active and involved member of the club for more than 10 years, and he will be very much missed.
We know from the wonderful celebration of his life on 4th February, that Lars was a many-talented and well loved young man, with friends and connections throughout the community. As a bowler he was a real team player, welcomed new members, and got along well with evryone. Lars made many friends among the Rockets, as he did in all the facets of his busy life. He was a role member and a mate.
We were privileged to have Lars amongst us for as long as we did. We extend our sympathy to his father, Peter, his sister, Brie, family and friends everywhere.
