Another Fantastic Year - 2016

The Bowlers and a Poli...
Thanks, Julian.

On the night of the 26th of November the Hornsby Rockets got together to celebrate another year of fantastic bowling. (When I get a copy of all the awards received over the year I'll post them here. Suffice to say, we hauled in an impressive amount of hardware in 2016.)

What this picture doesn't show, though, and what should be recognised by everybody is the amount of work Lesley and Anna did to ensure there would be bowling next year. Lesley mentioned it briefly at the dinner, but as usual, downplayed what they did. Others helped, but Anna and Lesley delivered a full court press, hitting the media, TBA and AMF hard and frequently, with very little advance notice, but as ruthless as the momma bears that they are.

Next time you see them, make sure you tell them "Thanks."

I hope you all enjoyed 2016, and let's look forward to a cracking 2017.

See you then!

5 Rockets were selected out of a total 8 participants for this Division

Whether the bowlers won a medal/trophy or not and even if they did not get into the State Team, they all tried their best and we should be proud of the attitude, comradery and fair play by the Rockets.

WELL DONE EVERYONE
