KARINA FLIES THE FLAG...

On Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September, Karina Peters travelled to Canberra to compete in the 2018 Interstate Disabilities Tenpin Bowling Tournament held at Zone Bowling Tuggeranong. After two long hard days of bowling here are her results;

B Grade Female            All Events         1st
B Grade Female            Singles             1st & 6th
A Grade                        Doubles            8th & 9th
B Grade                        Teams              1st & 4th

But if that wasn’t enough bowling Karina qualified for the Masters on Monday 1st October. After another seven great games of bowling she ended up with a fantastic Masters average of 147. This was good enough to give Karina a placing of 6 out of 16. A very commendable result.

PLUS to top it off on behalf of the Hornsby Rockets she won the Perpetual Interstate Disabilities Tournament Shield (unfortunately she couldn't bring this one home - this will be kept in the pro-shop at Tuggeranong once it has been engraved)

WELL DONE KARINA
