And we've made it up to p. 5 in the Bush Telegraph Weekly ......Hornsby Rockets (Disability Ten Pin Bowling Team) 2009 Challenge
The Hornsby Rockets held it's 2009 Challenge Night Friday 13th November, if was a great success with 96 bowlers & spectators from different community groups taking part in nights events. The evening was a fun night with games & prizes for the winners of the challenges that they were asked to complete.
The Winners of the bowling night were Berowra Rotary with their team the "Rotary Rollers" second going to Hornsby Rockets team "Ice Cream" & third place to a Berowra Probus team "Probus Rollers".
The President Ron Crompton said that the evening was great success & all that attended said that they had a great time & looking forward to next years event which promise to be bigger & better.

The night was also to launch the rockets Christmas raffle which is help raise funds to assist bowlers with costs towards the 2010 National competition which is being held in Perth.
